Scholarships will be awarded to 24 Nebraska high schools seniors graduating in 2008. Each will receive a $500 scholarship to be applied toward their post-secondary education. Other minimum requirements are as follows:
Upper 1/3 of graduation class or ACT of 20 or above
Attendance at post-secondary institution full-time within Nebraska during the next academic year
Completion of the Money to Learn scholarship application
Affirmation of class rank and/or test score by H.S. guidance counselor
Applicant and parent/legal guardian must read and sign the application
Applicant must send in a non-returnable photo to be used for advertising and press releases.
Applications will be
accepted September 1, 2007 through March 15, 2008. Each applicant must print and
mail the application to:

All qualified individuals may only apply once and the application must be postmarked between 9/1/07 and 3/15/08.
One scholarship recipient will be selected each week beginning November 19, 2007 through May 1, 2008 (24 weeks) and will be announced weekly in the Lincoln Journal Star. All 24 recipients will be featured in a full-page ad in the Lincoln Journal Star.
All recipients will be notified the week prior to announcing that they have been selected as the “Money to Learn scholarship recipient of the week”. In addition, each will receive a letter with the following details:

UNL CSEMS Scholarship Program
Must be majoring in engineering, math, or computer.
Already enrolled in one of these majors at UNL
Must be PELL eligible.
