College and Degrees- University of NE Lincoln-2yrs. University of SD-Vermillion 2 1/2 yrs: B.S. in Elementary Education

What is the favorite part about your job? I like getting to know students. Every day brings something new and different in a kindergarten classroom.

What is the hardest part about your job? Keeping my desk clean and writing on the white board in a straight line! :)

What advice do you have for someone considering teaching? I would as them if they are a patient person who really cares about people. If they aren't, maybe education isn't for them.

Why did you want to become a teacher? I love working with kinds. I enjoy the challenge of making learning fun and hands-on.

If you weren't working at the school, what would you be doing? I would be working at home and helping on the farm.

Community Involvement? AWANA Commander, Niobrara Ramblers 4-H club leader, Boyd County Extension Board Member, Member of the Butte Community Bible Church.

What are your hobbies? Gardening, Scrapbooking, watching my kids in their activities, and Photography.
